90 Days is about politics, intrigues power play and corruption. The drama series is set in Alfawa a fictional city, which is also the state capital. And it begins in the heat of electioneering campaign for the governor’s seat. The incumbent governor is highly corrupt and desperate to win re-election in spite of doing very little for the people. The health sector as an example is neglected and the poor die in public hospitals. The media is muzzled, opposition intimidated, attacked, and others bribed. The leading contender in the poll campaigns with almost little or no resources, intimation and backstabbing. But with the help of his trusted friends and acquaintances he triumphs over the powerful, ruthless, affluent governor.
